Parents MUST read over this policy before booking.

We ask that this policy is respected. It is important that BSC and the Parent(s) are in full agreement before our services are used.​

*INTAKE FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED FOR ALL FIRST-TIME BOOKINGS.

At BSC, we prioritize sending out sitters based on their availability and compatibility with your family's needs. Therefore, parents are not permitted to select a specific sitter unless explicitly stated otherwise. Rest assured that all of our sitters are background checked and experienced to provide the best care for your children. Thank you for understanding and trusting us to match you with the most suitable sitter for your family.

OPERATIONAL HOURS

Monday through Saturday: from 6 am to 1 am.

*Before and after those times will be an extra fee of $15.

Sunday: CLOSED unless otherwise stated herein, BSC will charge an extra fee of $10/hr if serviced.

 

HOLIDAYS

Childcare services will not be provided on the following holidays unless stated otherwise: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Mardi Gras Day, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Bookings on these holidays will be an extra fee of $10/hr.  

If you’d like to request more than one sitter, there will be a fee of $5/hr. per extra sitter

CANCELLATION

​ CANCELLATION If parent(s) would like to cancel, they will be charged a cancellation fee of $40.Cancellation fees are non-negotiable. Avoid cancellation fees by changing your date to a day within the same week of your scheduled date.If your new date or time is for a different work week you will be charged a cancellation fee.If your scheduled time needs to be changed it is important to do so 24 hours BEFORE your scheduled time. If not, sitters will assist you within your scheduled times. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and for this reason, the cancellation fee will be reduced to $20 if due to sickness and severe weather conditions. If parent(s) fail to pay cancelation fees, they will no longer be allowed to use our services.

PAYMENT

FORMS OF PAYMENT: Zelle or enclosed check. Invoices will be sent for card/online payments. We DO NOT accept cash as a form of payment. Payments must be submitted within 2 days following the completion of services and before the weekend, unless the service is provided on a Saturday or Sunday. Please note that payments received after the 2-day period will incur late fees. Thank you for your attention to this policy. Parents are responsible for ALL fees. Sitters are NOT allowed to accept service payment. Tips are appreciated but not expected and should be sent directly to the sitter. Parent(s) must agree to pay BSC per hour as scheduled. BSC does NOT offer refunds once our services are used. If your child(ren) are cared for at times additional to those scheduled, Parent(s) will be charged for the additional time. BSC agrees to give Parent(s) a notice before any changes are made to the scheduled time, payment, or fees and will provide a new agreement in the event of change.Parent(s) will be charged a late fee of $10 after 20 minutes. Parents shall NOT discuss payment with sitters. Service fees will be sent immediately after booking. Payment must be received by Sunday [within the same week of service.]

​ILLNESS POLICY

If your child could show any signs of an oncoming illness, please notify BSC immediately, as we have the obligation to protect ourselves and other children in our care from illness whenever possible. Parent(s) MUST let their sitter know of any medical problems beforehand, in case of emergency.

DISCIPLINE

BSC will not make any corporal punishment in the discipline of children in their care. Should discipline be required, sitters will use redirection and/or a time out.

ADDITIONAL TERMS

Parents are prohibited from contacting their assigned sitter outside of their scheduled times. All sitters are aware that this could terminate their contract.

 Parents are not permitted to hire our sitters to service them without our knowledge.
