Policy

Refer to full policy online. Parents MUST read and agree to this policy before booking (updates are highlighted). Intake forms are required for all first-time bookings and are available in member profiles. BSC assigns sitters based on availability and compatibility; parents may not choose a specific sitter unless stated. All sitters are background-checked and experienced. Requesting additional sitters costs $6/hr per extra sitter. Same-Day Booking Fees: 4–6 hrs: $20 | 2–3 hrs: $30 | ≤1 hr: $50 Operational Hours: Mon–Sat: 6am–1am | Sunday: Closed (or +$10/hr if serviced) Bookings outside hours incur fees: • 1 hr: $25 | 2 hrs: $35 | 3 overnight hrs: $40 Booking: Submit detailed request forms. Non-urgent inquiries may take up to 24 hrs for response (during business hours only). Parking: Clients are responsible for all parking/valet/garage fees. Holidays: Extra fees may apply (e.g., Mardi Gras, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.). Late Arrival: 20-min grace period; after that, $25 late fee plus any added time. Sitter Communication: Sitters will contact you ~30 mins before arrival. Bios/photos are provided after booking confirmation. Cancellation: $40 fee (non-negotiable). Reschedule within same week to avoid it. Changes must be made 24 hrs prior. Reduced to $20 for illness or severe weather. Non-payment results in loss of services. Payment: Full scheduled hours must be paid (no refunds after services). Extensions may be allowed. Payment methods: Zelle or invoice (no cash). Late payments incur fees. Sitters cannot accept payment directly (tips optional). Parents must not discuss payment with sitters. Extra time is billed. Illness: Notify BSC of any symptoms; disclose medical conditions in advance. Discipline: No corporal punishment; redirection/time-outs only. Additional Terms: Parents may not contact sitters outside scheduled times or hire them privately without BSC knowledge.
