Policy

Parents MUST read and agree to this policy before booking. Intake forms are required for all first-time bookings. All available forms can be found in member profiles. We assigns sitters based on availability and compatibility; parents may not choose a specific sitter unless stated. All sitters are background-checked, CPR/First Aid Certified and experienced. Only clients who are contracted with a specific sitter are guaranteed assignment. Requesting additional sitters costs $8/hr per extra sitter. Operational Hours: Mon–Sat: 6am–1am | Sunday: Closed Holidays: Extra fees may apply (e.g., Mardi Gras, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.). Same-Day Booking Fees: 4-6 Hours Notice: $20 | 2-3 Hours notice : $30 | 1 Hour or Less $50 Bookings outside of operational hours incur fees: 1 hr: $25 | 2 hrs: $35 | 3 overnight hrs: $40 Booking: Submit detailed request forms. Non-urgent inquiries may take up to 24 hrs for response (during business hours only). Clients are responsible for all parking/valet/garage fees. Late Arrival: 20-minute grace period; after that, a $25 late fee plus any over time will be added. Sitters will contact you ~30 mins before arrival. Bios/photos are provided upon booking confirmation. Cancellation: Once confirmed, a (non-negotiable) cancellation fee of $40 will be applied. Reschedule within same work-week to avoid fees. Changes must be made 24 hrs prior. Reduced fee of $20 for illness or severe weather. Non-payment results in termination of services. Parents are responsible for ALL fees after services rendered. ​Please note that parents MUST pay for the full scheduled hours when booking. Early arrival does not exempt you from paying for the full booked time. Full payment for scheduled hours is required; no refunds are issued after services are confirmed. Payment information is due upon request and payment fees are due upon confirmation. Late fees may apply to interrupted or delayed payments. Sitters are not authorized to accept any form of service payments; tips are appreciated. Tips are appreciated and should be given directly to the sitter. Parent(s) must agree to pay BSC as scheduled if your child(ren) are cared for at times additional time. BSC agrees to give notice of any changes -Illness: Notify BSC of any symptoms; disclose medical conditions in advance. -Discipline: No corporal punishment; redirection/time-outs only. -Parents may not contact sitters outside scheduled times or hire them privately without BSC knowledge.
