Transportation Policy

Policy Acknowledgment: Before booking our services, parents MUST read the Policy page and complete the necessary Waivers to release their child for transportation. This ensures that all parties are informed and compliant with our guidelines.

Car Seats/Booster Seat Requirement: All parents MUST provide appropriate car seats or booster seats for their children who are under the age of 8. This is mandatory to ensure the safety of your child during transportation in a BSC sitter's vehicle. Safety is a shared responsibility between parents, sitters, and Babysitters Club NOLA.

Cancellation:

Once confirmed, a (non-negotiable) cancellation fee of $40 will be applied. Reschedule within same work-week to avoid fees. Changes must be made 24 hrs prior. Reduced fee of $20 for illness or severe weather. Non-payment results in termination of services.

Payment:

• Full scheduled hours must be paid (no refunds after services). Service fees will be processed through your original payment method upon booking confirmation.

• Payments are due upon booking confirmation. Payment interruptions will incur late fees if applicable. Sitters are not authorized to accept service payments. Parents must not discuss payment with sitters. Extra time will be billed.

Sitter Communication: Please be advised that all sitters are required to contact you WITHIN at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled service time to provide an estimated time of arrival.

We assigns sitters based on availability and compatibility; parents may not choose a specific sitter unless stated. All sitters are background-checked, CPR/First Aid Certified and experienced. Only clients who are contracted with a specific sitter are guaranteed assignment.

Mon–Sat: 6am–1am | Sunday: Closed

Holidays:

Extra fees may apply (e.g., Mardi Gras, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.).

Same-Day Booking Fees:

4-6 Hours Notice: $20 | 2-3 Hours notice : $30 | 1 Hour or Less $50

Booking:

Submit detailed request forms. Non-urgent inquiries may take up to 24 hrs for response (during business hours only).

Parking:

Clients are responsible for all parking/valet/garage fees.

Late Arrival:

20-minute grace period; after that, a $25 late fee plus any over time will be added.

Discipline:

No corporal punishment; redirection/time-outs only.

Additional Terms:

Parents may not contact sitters outside scheduled times or hire them privately without BSC knowledge.
